Dr. Aida Nasrallah is a distinguished writer, playwright, and researcher in the field of Palestinian art.

She was born in Umm al-Fahm in 1956. She earned her PhD with honors from Tel Aviv University for her dissertation titled “Representations of the Body in Contemporary Palestinian Feminist Art (1998–2010).” She was awarded full academic scholarships from the university for both her Master’s and Doctoral degrees.

To date, she has published fourteen books across various genres, including academic studies, short story collections, and two novels. Her novel “My Dear from Overseas” has been translated into both German and Hebrew. She was also awarded a fellowship to participate in the International Writing Program (IWP) at the University of Iowa.

Dr. Nasrallah has taken part in numerous international and local conferences on art and literature. She serves as a jury member for the Best Female Artist award at the Association for Research in Art and Gender, and is also a member of the Hybrid Theatre, based in New York City.

د. عايدة نصرالله هي أديبة وكاتبة مسرحيّة وباحثة في مجال الفن الفلسطيني.

من مواليد مدينة أم الفحم 1956. نالت اللقب الثالث فعن دراستها بعنوان "تمثلات الجسد في الفن النسوي الفلسطيني المعاصر من سنة 1998-2010" من جامعة تل أبيب بمرتبة الشرف. حظيت بمنحة التعلم على حساب الجامعة في اللقبين الثاني والثالث. صدر لها حتى الآن أربعة عشر كتابا متنوعة بعضها في الدراسات الأكاديمية ومجموعات قصص قصيرة وروايتين. ترجمت روابتها عزيزي من وراء البحار للغة الألمانية واللغة العبرية. ونالت منحة الاشتراك في برنامج الكتّاب العالمي Iwp في جامعة أيوا، اشتركت في مؤتمرات عالمية ومحلية حول الفن والأدب. عضوة في لجنة التحكيم لأفضل فنانة في جمعية البحث في الفن والجندر، عضوة في المسرح الهيبريدي ومقرها نيويورك.
