Gibran studied musical composition in Moscow under Konstantin K. Batashov, in Berlin under Paul Hans Dittrich, and attended master classes with Alfred Schnittke, György Kurtág, György Ligeti, and Karlheinz Stockhausen. He also studied orchestral conducting with Vladimir Fedoseyev and Daniel Barenboim.
He has performed in most of the world’s major theaters and opera houses.
